Is it so red/reddened that not visible (<15.0V or <15.6g) on ASAS-SN light curve?

I think this star is identical with GDS_J1845033-072044

Very bright in infrared (J-K=1.88)

Might be an RCB star?

Or is it a YSO?

If not an RCB, is it a long period eclipsing variable or a  protostar with a disk causing the dip?

DYPER-type?

Sebastian replied on [vsnet-alert] list:

"it doesn't have the infrared colors of an RCB star.
Also the dimming is not steep as is usually the case with RCB stars. In colour-colour WISE and 2MASS diagrams it matches the position of red giants, including some DY Persei stars so it is likely a carbon star undergoing a fading event and it might indeed be a DYPER object. "
