To whom it may concern:
The BOOTES-1A wide field image telescope at the BOOTES-1 station in Mazagon (INTA-CEDEA, Huelva, Spain) automatically detected a rise in the flux of the cataclysmic variable star GY Cnc at 02:15:23 UT on 13 Jan 2022. Its optical flux increased to 12.6 mag. in clear filter using G filter from GAIA mission. Following this alert, a set of five images were obtained spanning 2h in total with the BOOTES-1B 0.3m robotic telescope located nearby.
