How to extract only one green channel (from the two available) from an rggb image without going bankrupt?

Hello everyone,

I already know that MaximDL is very capable of extracting the four color channels in a RGGB image from a DSLR or OSC cameras. Does anyone know a way of extracting only one green channel without paying the outrageous amount of 600 USD? I tried to extract the channels with Iris, using the following sentence in its command line:

SPLIT_CFA [C1] [C2] [C3] [C4]

But I get the annoying message "Cannot save file", and do not know how to solve it.

Any help will be most appreciated.

Found the solution...

The solution is Iris. Actually I forgot to change the working directory. When I did that, the "Cannot save file" thing was resolved.

ASTAP can extract color channels

In the free multi-function program ASTAP, it is possible to extract an individual channel from the Bayer array.  It also has a function to split the three channels out into RGB if you provide the Bayer pattern.
