AAVSO Special Notice #409 announces the scheduling of Chandra observations for the symbiotic variable RT Cru. Photometry, visual observations, and spectroscopy are requested. Please see the Special Notice for observing instructions. This campaign was announced in August 2014 in AAVSO Alert Notice 503.

Which wavelengths or features need spectroscopic recording/ monitoring? At what resolution?
Hi Ken,
Dr. Karovska, who is on travel, says that: "in general, high-resolution spectra around Halpha and [OIII]5007A will be helpful, in addition to the spectrum for the full range (echelle, for example)."
I will find out from her how spectra should be reported and will post the information here.
