Hi,

I am using MS Edge to Quick Upload .fit files in VPHOT.

I am only able to upload a single .fit file at a time.

I can not mark multiple .fit files using the Shift key.

Has anyone been able to upload mutiple .fit files using Edge?

Thanks

Allow flash

Erik:

Once at the upload page in Edge, right click on the lock icon at the left side of the address window.

Click Allow Flash. Reload page. Should then be able to upload multiple images. I can.

We have seen this flash permission issue in other browsers.

Unable to upload .fit or zipped .fit files to VPHOT

Hi Ken,

Thanks for info... I followed your steps but when I try to select multiple files with the SHIFT key held down I still can not mark multiple files.

I can select mutiple files using the Foxfire browser and the SHIFT key but I can not upload sucessfully. That is why I am using Edge.

Flash

Interesting, worked for me. I do not use Edge so the first time I tried to shift click, (a few minutes ago!) I could only highlight one image at a time.

However, after I right clicked the lock icon and selected allow flash, I could highlight multiple images (e.g., 11) and they uploaded all at once.

Did you close and re-open the upload page after allowing flash. It warned me that I had to do that? Actually, all I did was click the reload circle icon and it worked properly?

Ken

PS: The interesting issue is that Flash is going to be discontinued after 2020!!

Ken,

Yes, I allowed flash and re-opened the Upload page... still can not highlight multiple images.

I am using a Logitech Cordless keypad.

Will try Edge on another computer/keypad.

Thanks for your help.

Flash inconsistencies!

It continues to be annoying that Flash seems to work slightly differently on the common browsers?

Now that Flash is going away in 2020, I suspect each browser creator will get further and further away from the original code?  frown

BTW, comments on the forum lead me to believe that Chrome works best in this regard but even it needed the "flash allowance" trick?

Hi Ken,

I tried to upload multiple files using Edge on several other computers and it works.

I think there may be an issue with using Edge with my Logitech Cordless keypad.
