Uploaded an image but image does not show in the que nor in my Available Images list. So I tried an image which had been successfully uploaded but still not in the que nor added to my image list.

Upload

Gary:

I just uploaded an image  (1715 EDT) with Quick Upload. It arrived quickly in my Available Image List.

Can you provide a few more details about your attempt? Quick Upload or Wizard, etc? I assume you have been successful before?

UPLOAD

Ken,

I used the Wizard. Every step for uploading were just like the other images which were successful. Nothing different. I selected my telescope. The images for the test image uploaded ok (no errors). The review header indicated good to go, etc. All 5 steps worked, The summary gave no indication of any problems. Clicking the Server Processing Que shows no image being processed. I'll usually click again a short time later to see if the image is either in the que or being processed. Once it is finished being processed I'll go to the image list. In this case nothing in the que or the list.

The image was a V filter. It was plate solved using using Astrometry.net. The image was not B,D or F calibrated because several exposures were taken and I needed to retake calibration images. Before spending time taking cal images for the various exposures I wanted to use VPHOT to help determine which exposure time gave the best data, then I would retake the cal images and perform calibration. Would this technique cause the problem?

Calibration

Gary:

The fact that your image was not calibrated should not effect its upload. some other wrinkle must be present?

Ken,

Ken,

I did get the image processed successfully through the que. Earlier attempts with other images worked using the photometry.net "new image" but would not work with this images. So I tried going back to a simplier fits header which worked.not only for those related to this post but to others taken later. Sometimes one way and other times another way works. I'll just upload one way and if that does not work do the other. Either way VPHOT is a great tool!

No download

Can't seem to download the stacked images.

It downloads very fast (<1second) and makes a zip file with nothing in it.

Has had a T17 file stuck in it for couple days

Old Image in Queue

Ray:

Once in a while an itelescope image gets stuck? Not sure why? You can ignore it. We get to it with manual deletion at some point.
