The old nova X Ser might be starting another DN outburst.  This star is usually 17.0-17.5V, but is a little

brighter than that as shown by the latest observation from MPO61:

20230114.505   16.65V  +/- 0.04

It might be worth keeping an eye on this star to see if this develops into a full outburst.

Re: X Ser going into outburst?

X Ser has brightened further, so it looks like a new outburst is underway.

The latest observation from MPO61:

20230115.503   16.35V  +/- 0.06

re X Ser going into outburst?

It's definitely a bit brighter than normal again this morning. I measured at v = 16.303(18) at MJD 5960.9608 (= 20230116.461). I'm not sure if this is going to be an outburst, though, since it doesn't seem to be brightening.
