Hello

I hope this is the correct forum to post this question, if not please let me know where it should be directed.

I was using MPO V10.7 (newest) software to download the XML format for the AUID info for comp stars (Batch Reference File).
I was trying to download info for CD Cas however the website report via the XML output that there was no star in the database, which is false.   I then tried Explorer and got the same message.

I had used this before for CW Cas so I tried that star again and got simular results.

<root>

<list-item>Star  does not exist in VSX
</list-item>
<list-item>You must supply either the name of a star or RA/Declination
</list-item>
</errors>
<detail>There are errors in the given parameters</detail></root>

When I tried the RA_DEC info instead of the name I got the info but it did not list the star name as it had before.

I think something is wrong or has changed here and if it is something I am doing please let me know.  MPO now generates the web address after filling in a form which is shown above.

See attached png for more info, I also attached the old CW Cas.XML file (in text format) which works.

Thank you

HI Patrick

Thanks so much!  Your input helped me find that I had not filled in one of the inputs on the first screen in MPO that includes the Star name.

All is working; I was sure it was something I had forotten to do.

Thanks again

John
