Mira YY Tau is approaching minimum but has become fainter than I can reliably observe with my 14" OTA and CCD. You can make a very timely contribution by fitting in even a couple of observation points over the next 4-6 weeks.

The VSX ephemeris dates from 1926, giving a period of 192.1 days which seems wrong--I'm seeing a current period about twice that length. You may judge for yourself:

YY Tau on LCG: https://www.aavso.org/lcg/plot?auid=000-BBJ-382&starname=YY%20TAU&lastd…

YY Tau:    05:28:38  +15:40:55   (J2000) //  V max ~ 11.5   V min ~ 18(??)

Thanks for whatever you can do!
