2021 AAVSO Spectroscopy Workshop
Our 2021 AAVSO Spectroscopy Workshop will be held in person at The Row Hotel in Somerville, MA November 3rd (Wednesday) & 4th (Thursday). Online participation is now available for those not able to attend in person.
Now for a second year, Ken Hudson and his committee are planning a robust spectroscopy program for beginner through experienced spectroscopists. Before registering, please view the prerequisites.
This year, we have received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), which includes five awards for high school teachers to travel to the workshop. The NSF would like to see teachers acquire knowledge and skills at the workshop, and follow through by incorporating spectroscopy into their curriculum. (The deadline for grant applicants has now passed.)
