I get email feeds on new forum posts that I have subscribed to. I find them hard to read due to, what I call, formatting problems. There are pipe characters (|) that, if converted to line feeds or even line feeds/carriage returns would make the email notices much easier to read. Is there any chance to get this feature?

Wouldn't you know it? The very next email feed (which was a copy of my post) was formatted with the pipe characters acting as line feeds. The one that prompted the post was a reply, however, and I will look to see how this one is formatted. Maybe problem solved, maybe found a bug?

formatting problem

Hmmm. It seems that the comments are the ones with the formatting problem. There is a paragraph tag "" that seems to start where the formatting fails. Look at this excerpt

Hi: I see that computers pick on you also. I just type in the query and let the computer do its' work. Lets see how this comes out.

I cleaned out the paragraph tags () from the emails; hopefully that will fix your problem. Unfortunately, in my tests the emails are all displaying newlines correctly, so I can't tell what exactly is causing it to be all on one line for you. Let me know if these changes fix it for you.

I've rewritten the template

I've rewritten the template for subscription notices entirely. Tom (and anyone else), please let me know if this fixes it for you or if you keep having problems.
