Hi,
recently after observing W Umi, I found per Muniwin datamining that i also have a minimum of CzeV 257 UMi or GSC 4638-934, cze: (The Czech variable star cataloge).
Yesterday i got a VSP finderchart, today not?

Also VSX + VSP seems to have missing properties? Max, Min, Period, Epoch.

How ist the propper way to update VSX or VSP? Also that i can upload my obs data?

PS: i've sent a question to vsx@aavso.org
Dear Bernhard,
There is extensive online material on how to submit a revision to VSX, including the VSX Manual and the FAQ page:
https://www.aavso.org/vsx/_images/Manual.pdf
https://www.aavso.org/vsx/index.php?view=about.faq
https://www.aavso.org/vsx/index.php?view=about.notice
In the case of this star, since the reference to the Cze V catalogue is already in VSX, it is much simpler, just click on the revise button and in the revision form, enter the elements currently given in the online catalogue page.
Add the period, epoch and maximum and minimum mangitudes (and their passbands), the GSC identifier and a remark "11.48 V."
Then in the revision comment, write "Period, epoch and range from the CzeV catalogue."
That's how you proceed to revise data from the literature. In general, if there is a paper including the data you need to give a proper reference (name and bibcode).
To submit a revision to VSX, you need to create a VSX account if you haven't got one.
Lots of stars in the CzeV catalogue are missing data because by the time the objects were submitted to VSX, that information was missing.
Best wishes,
Sebastian
