Problem was an orientation issue caused by similar star patterns of comparison stars.
Visual observation of T CrB, I am a beginner. I found something weird.
I used:
I would like to change the email address of my AAVSO account but the field is not active. what should I do?
Very thanks.
Hi, I am just starting out. I have captured some images of variables and I would like to practise the photometry measurements before I start submitting observations. Can I use VPhot for practise or will it automatically submit my results?
Hi
I truly hope someone can help me with this.
When I upload Fits from Google Drive I keep getting what looks like Static only once have I had a Star image that actually looks like it should.
I keep getting errors with Jason when generating a light curve. As in the software can not read the file.
I am away from my PC at the moment so can upload later images of the problems.
Has anyone else encountered this and is there something I should be doing.
Exotic Practice works fine
I have a question about the format for submissions through WerbObs. If you look at the documentation here:
https://www.aavso.org/aavso-extended-file-format
It indicate that CMAG and KMAG should be instrumental magnitudes. I have been using Tycho to generate my report and it does put instrumental magnitudes there.
Can anyone point me to a key for the filter abbreviations used in WEbObs.
Most are obvious but some are not to me.
Thanks
Kevin
