Hi
I am new to the forum and would therefore like to introduce myself briefly. I prefer to observe EB in the UBVRI filter area in Hamburg, Germany.
Yesterday I observed V700 Cyg with an I filter.
In VPhot I cannot find any comp stars.
Therefore my question: how can I evaluate this ?

Best regards,

Horst

Horst,

This target never really had it's own sequence.  I just created one and suggest that you use the Advanced Options for a chart and enter 20 (this is an arcmin value) into the Field of View then enter 13 into the Magnitude Limit.  This will present you with a chart that includes five potential comp stars with Ic values.  Be sure and check the B, Rc & Ic filter options at the bottom of the VSP request page.

FYI, if you discover an existing sequence (comp stars) with issues you can report them as a CHET:

If a FOV has no comp stars then you can request a sequence:
