This is just a wish. I use the Cartes du Ciel planetarium app. It marks variables, no problem - but it marks all variables, whether (to my mind!) they are hardly variables at all - small-amplitude stars specifically, that I have no interest in. It would be great if VSX allowed one to filter by amplitude (for example, all variables with amplitude >0.5m) because CdC allows the creation of a usable database from a .csv file.
