Background/Interesting Fact
PhD student in astrophyiscs at Stanford University, 4th year. Advisor is Professor Steve Allen. My particular specialties/day job include X-ray observations of galaxy clusters and AGN, in particular for tests of astrophysical interactions and cosmological tests.
Teaching assistant for Stanford's higher level observational astronomy course gives me easy access to 16" and 24" reflector telescopes with automated pointing setup and mid-grade CCD cameras.
Fun fact: I had so much fun taking my girlfriend to the student observatory I proposed to her right below the telescope. She said yes.
