Your observations of V513 Peg (HS 2214+2845) are essential tonight and tomorrow night, as the HST scheduling team needs them to make their final decision about going ahead with the HST/COS obervations of this dwarf nova. Please see AAVSO Special Notice #363 for details.

Thank you and good observing  -  Elizabeth Waagen, AAVSO HQ

V513 Peg Confusion

Hello Elizabeth

The finder charts in F and G size for this object make it hard to distinguish which of the 2 objects are the object.  I think its the Northern most one.

The PT that I submitted last night contained both objects near this location.  If you confirm which is the correct one, I can probably split the two and resubmit.

My apologies for not replying

My apologies for not replying before now, Gary. V513 Peg is the northern star of the pair.

It is all right if your observation contained both images - Dr. Gaensicke and colleagues are expecting to have to remove the companion from the data.

Thanks for your observations! I know they were helpful to  the HST scheduling team.
