As a member of the AAVSO you are committed to the advancement of astronomy through you participation as an observer, visual or electronic, or as a non-observing member. You BELIEVE in our mission and provide support through your membership.
Your participation is appreciated, but I would like to propose a challenge that I will take on myself as a member of the AAVSO for over 50 years.
You have friends, fellow observers or persons interested in the furthering of the aims of our mission. If you will get one of your contacts to join the AAVSO as a new member, I will work toward enlisting another TWO members to enroll.
This is a challenge to all members and I hope this will increase our membership and impact our position in the world of astronomy.
