Thank you to all the members who responded to the Annual Meeting survey. It was very helpful for planning purposes and very exciting to see that there will be many new faces at the meeting this year.
We have booked the field trip to Apache Point Observatory and Sack Peak Observatory. It will be full day starting early Monday morning (10/21/19) for the bus trip to Sunspot and returning to the hotel in the early evening about 6 -7PM. We have secured a comfortable bus for the trip and arranged for box lunches to be delivered to Sack Peak midday. They have a large meeting room where AAVSO members can assemble for lunch. The bus will transport groups between the two sites as our group is already too big for a single tour of each site.
Remember to take advantage of the hotel group rate on Monday night before starting your journey home on Tuesday.
