Sky Flats and Cameras with Amp Glow

I am almost sure to get one or several students in the upcoming CCD1&2 class who have CMOS cameras with amp glow and will want to take sky flats. Any advice on how to accomplish this, or avoiding sky flats with amp glow cameras, would be welcome as I use a flat panel for all my flats and have avoided sky flats for years.
