Hi all,
I want to start practicing with VPhot, so I tried to upload some images I took.
I created my telescope in this list. Then I used the wizard to see, which informations are missing in my fits-header.
I completed those information and uploaded my images then (yesterday).
I have seen them in this server-processing list, but after they disappeared from the list, they didn't show up in my
images-list until now.
Did I do something wrong or what happened?
greetings

Hi Katy,
Can you give me your user name (AAVSO observer initials), as well as the name of one of the files, and I'll try to trace it down.
Geir
My observer initials
yes.
My observer initials are: SNH01
the first file is: SLeo_V_30_001.fit
(the others only differ in the last number)
Thank you, for your help.

Strange, I can not find a user by that name.
You do log into VPHOT after loging into the AAVSO web page? And your AAVSO initialts are the same as your AAVSO web page user name? (they have to be the same for it to work). Please verify that your initialts are in front of the 'Log into VPHOT Server' link on this page

My initials have been changed from FKAA to SNH01 2 days ago.
Maybe that causes the problem?
I also changed my username to SNH01 since it should be the same as my observer initials to get VPhot to work.
There is also no username at all in front of the 'Log into VPHOT Server' link.
the address this link refers to is: http://vphot.aavso.org/app/login.aspx?user=2611090
maybe that helps.

Hi Kate!
I took a look at your account here on the website and found that it did not have in the proper places your observer initials or your AAVSO membership number. (It was the observer initials that were important!). I have edited your web account so that the proper information is now in place.
Log out of the website (you're on now as I type this) and log back in. When you go to log into VPhot you should see your observer code this time. Log in and see if you have your images and let me know.
