V4072 Sgr observations needed. Eclipses or dust obscuration events?

V4072 Sgr is a WC9 star that has undergone 1.2 mag. dips in the past.

After the recent detection of the WR 53 eclipse, now it looks more than likely that those dips were also obscuration events.

Just in case,if the dimmings were actual eclipses, one of them should be centered on November 12, 2015 (the two observed drops in brighteness were separated by 70.8 years).

Can someone observe the star these upcoming weeks to check if it is at its normal V= 8.77 or so?

Cheers,
Sebastian

V4072 SGR Visual Observations

Hi Sebastian

I've made some visual observations of V4072 Sgr over the last 3 nights and have uploaded into the AID.  Hopefully I've got some clear weather over the next week or so.

Regards
