My AAVSONet proposal to…

My AAVSONet proposal to follow V406 VUL in B,V,R and I was submitted and accepted today. Looks like good comps very close to the target, even for small FoV cameras.

Outburst declining?

Thanks to everyone who is contributing observations!

At the moment it looks like this outburst is fading rather than brightening--ZTF data from last night puts the object at r~20.  Let's continue keeping an eye on it; either continued fading to quiescence or a rebrightening may be possible.

Closing the campaign due to return to quiescence

Recent observations suggest that the source has returned to near the quiescent level, so barring a re-brightening into a new outburst I suggest we consider this campaign closed.

Thank you to everyone who contributed observations!  I will follow up with you individually concerning paper authorship.
