We are delighted to announce that the AAVSO's Target Tool is up and running again. We have resolved several known issues and moved the software from FilterGraph's servers to https://targettool.aavso.org.
One note on your Target Tool password: Your password has been saved from the old version of the Target Tool, but your web browser will not automatically fill it in for you because of the url change. Open your browser's password store and search for "filtergraph". Use that password and remember to save it. Or you can just create a new password for the Target Tool. Now that the Target Tool is under AAVSO management we hope to respond more expeditiously to Feedback and suggestions.
A big thanks to George Silvis for taking the lead and making this project a reality.
Thanks,
Bert Pablo

Great news! Had a quick look and a couple comments/questions:
Keith
Hi Keith,
1- TargetTool is like VSX needing a separate password. They are on the same servers but it is really difficult to share authorization between disparate systems.
2- The goal is to be much more active curating the list of stars in the tool. So, not yet, but soon old entries will be dropped.
3- I'm not seeing the problem, though the logs do show it happening.
Next time, send me a screen shot and some notes on what you were clicking.
Thx,
George
Hi George. I'm just clicking on the blue triangle in the column header to sort, but actually it seems to only occur when doing the Filter/Mode column. Doing that goes to a blank page with "Internal error" and a message about a ticket being issued.
Keith
Thanks for the report detail!
"softed" is not the same thing as "sorted". Typo!
FIxed now.
Thx
George
